The General Store project is complete! The 2400 sq. foot building is just atop the hill for shopping convenience and in a high visibility area! This added space for many new and existing vendors!

We are very excited about this project and hope ya'll will enjoy the convenience.

The new Exit Road project is complete as we move into festival season! This new road leaves the grounds behind the top red barn and swings around to accesses at Dobro Flats and leaves the mountain below this area. We feel this will ease congestion at the top of our hill!

Plans are still underway to finish construction of our Tech room in our new Showcase Barn. This will finish the professional look to our newest addition to the great Poppy Mountain presents the IIIrd Tyme Out Bluegrass Festival!  We are very proud to have had acts in previous years such as Mountain Heart and Sante Fe, Ernie Thacker and Route 23, Ramona Church and Carolina, Larry Fuller, and Nothin Fancy Band.  Usually around 30 or more of the country's best bands show their stuff  each year! Many bands receive offers from other festivals from their sets!

Youth are Very Important to the Poppy Mountain Bluegrass organization.  We are instituting a scholarship program for a young person in Bluegrass Music to utilize in easing the pain of tuition, books and the other factors of education!  If interested in obtaining info on how to help, please contact PoppyTim Cahall at Poppy Mountain Bluegrass!

We hope to see many of you as we venture out to Festivals this year to discuss one of the finest festivals you and your family will ever attend....Poppy Mountain!  We are very proud to have IIIrd Tyme Out as our Host Band and have them adopt Poppy Mountain as their Home Festival!
